Friendly, helpful staff, close to MRT, close to city shopping Bed sheets were stained/dirty, our room was at the front of the building and the street activity was quite noisy during the night. Also the vinyl covered mattress is a bit tacky. |

NEAR MRT STATION, MANY PLACES TO EAT ROOM'S SO SMALL AND OLD. IT'S LOCATED IN THE RED LIGHT AREA, SO MAY NOT FEEL CONFORTABLE IF YOU ARE A LADY AND TRAVEL ALONE. |

Very clean in spite of the location The staffs were not able to comunicate in English. I was not very comfortable walking around as it was too crouded and not very clean. |

The room was small but comfortable and clean. Only a cheap cab ride from the main city centre. It is bang smack in the middle of the red light district with many prostitutes stood outside and all up the road. Although we had no trouble you did feel a little uneasy walking around the hotel. The power blew on the morning of our last day which meant we had no electricty and the air con stopped working. |

Security, I left the room without lock the door, and my lap top still there... Lucky or security? No shower curtain, and the hotel did not use hotel lock, we have to lock the door when we leave the room |

Actually, I transferred to the Fragrance Hotel-Emerald just down the road. At all Fragrance hotels the cheapest rooms are SMALL. I suggest upgrading to the superior rooms. The staff were great though. Very friendly and helpful. Pretty good location, too! About 8-10 mins from Kallang station. Only Chinese restaurants in the area though. Manager (old man) at Ruby was nice but when I told him we were going to transfer to the Emerald, he was really turned up the pressure to get us to stay at the Ruby. Wouldn't take no for an answer. A bit irritating. Also, beds at these hotels are a vinyl covered mattress. Not the most comfortable, but what would you expect. TVs are a bit old. Speakers crackle a bit. |

Niks, kamer was smerig, slecht personeel, en belachelijk duur voor wat je krijgt Alles was dus slecht, Personeel onbeschoft, geen idee hoe ze met klachten om moeten gaan. Kamer zat vol schimmel en was verder smerig, veel dingen waren kapot. En kreeg nergens compensatie voor, kamer belachelijk duur voor kwaliteit die je krijgt. Plus niet eens in de buurt van het centrum van de stad. |

Le quartier n'est pas commun pour la ville de Singapour. Hotel très propre; fonctionnel, à l'image de la ville. L'accueil est un peu froid. |
